Stupid Fight Website by Tom Scott
Two days ago I encountered an article on ninemsn page about fans who follow celebrities on Twitter.
I know that Twitter was publicized and (personally I think) made for people's entertainment by following celebrities on their daily activities. I know that celebrities themselves enjoy the attention and sometimes when they say something interesting on Twitter it gives them more gigs and jobs.
I don't have Twitter and I don't like the idea me following celebrities on the net and expecting them to acknowledge you. I don't have facebook, myspace or friendster anymore so yes no networking website for me. Just a Blogger, Tumblr and recently formspring.
I mean come on you are not really serious about celebrities acknowledging you throught twitter!
There are like billions and billions of people in the world the chances of them acknowledging you personally is the same chance as you winning the lottery.
Any way this is the article I was reading about Fans and Twitter is ------> there click here.
So knowing me the curious one, I went on to the website where they scale how dumb the fans of these celebrities was. First I tried using Rihanna (who I used to love but after Chris Brown incident just lost all my respect for her, because it shows that she was not the same girl that she sings on her songs) and lady gaga (I just used her because her fashion sense kinda reminds me off Rihanna), and it appears that Lady Gaga's fans are more stupid than Rihanna.
Then I did Kim Kardashian against Rihanna because I know that this particular celebrity is really a Twitter addict. So results were:
DUN DUN DUN DUN
Kim Kardashian still beats Rihanna, meaning that Rihanna's follower uses the correct spelling and grammar in their twitter status.
Then I used Demi Moore and Kim Kardishian because recently I read an article that Demi Moore takes things way too seriously on Twitter and even confronted Kim Kardashian on a term she (Kim) used as a joke. Demi Moore kinda got offended and thought it to be racist and brought slavery into the topic even though what Kim said was not even really related to slavery or racism, it was more like a slang that everybody used in the modern soceity, so the result between those fight is:
AND WOW, it appears that Demi Moore has no dumb followers and other explanation for this is she doesn't have many fans and followers, :S maybe time for a new gig or job? Maybe do something controversy?
Nah I don't think that's necessary aye Demi? I think she's far too sensible for that. Even if she has a lot of time in her hands I still respect her for not being a dumb girl who is dating a toyboy. Just like Cameron Diaz she's respectable and too good for that.
Anyway I was having too much fun in this I even tried Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift because I know someone who hates Taylor Swift but loves Selena Gomez and the result is this:
It appears that Selena Gomez followers are dumber than Taylor Swift. This result actually kinda surprised me because I thought it would be the other way around because of that role Taylor did in the movie 'Valentines Day'.
So I tried Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift to see again and results was
Demi Lovato!!! Why? I thought her fans would be smarter than Taylor Swift but then again Taylor Swift is someone I would consider intelligent because of the lyrics of her songs, it maybe a really typical girly song who just wants to find love but its actually just simple and intelligent. I would never really admit that she is talented with a good voice but I would say she is intelligent and beautiful.
So after having that fun in Tom Scott's website I just remembered that Tom called Twitter people dumb and yet he himself have a Twitter account, what a hypocrit?
I mean you made a website to scale people's intelligence because they are using twitter to follow celebrities and yet you can be contacted and followed on twitter?
You even clearly explained yourself what motivated you to create this website
So does that make you stupid as well Tom Scott? Takes one to know one isn't it Tom?
I mean I would understand if you created this website and made yourself a twitter account for this website purposes but you didn't state here in your web. More like you had one all along for social purposes.
I think before people put their name on their website or even just to gain publicity before contradicting something they should make sure that there won't be anyone who can contradict or criticize her/him as well, especially an OBVIOUS ONE!
I mean you pretty much called yourself as one of those dumb people because they have twitter 'people who have twitter are stupid' IRONIC MUCH!
I mean that website you did was really entertaining and I have to admit very entertaining but shame on you as well.
The only message I can say for Tom is that next time you create another awesome intelligent website like this make sure you are not one of those people who you specifically designed it for OR atleast can cover it up with an explanation that it was all for experimental purposes or some crap like that.
